This is Valentina and she lives alone. When a shell exploded next to her house, it broke the kitchen window. She covered it with plywood, but of course she didn’t like it. The kitchen was cold and dark. She said that during the winter, before going into the kitchen, she would run the gas stove to warm the room up a little. Then she could use the kitchen to cook. Now, thanks to the window insulation, it will be light and warmer next winter.
