New Hope and Joy
When a shell destroyed the windows in Tatyana’s apartment, she couldn’t find anything better, but to close her windows with wooden boards. She said that it was terrible. It was so dark and cold in the apartment. She even tried to decorate her window in the kitchen with some pictures, so it won’t be so depressing. When we made her window insulation, she said it’s like a new life, joy and hope which you gave me.

Seeing The Light
When the shell hit Ilmiya’s apartment, the balcony caught on fire and all the windows were destroyed. She covered windows with wood, but it was so dark in her apartment that she tried to cut holes in the wood, so at least somehow the light would come into her apartment. She was so glad to have this window insulation, she said now, finally, I will have light in home. This is the most important for me.

His mum, Limila, was at work, so we had to make a picture with him. He was in charge of the house😀, but also he was very happy when we took all the wooden boards off!

The Director of college 34 in Nikopol…
expressed so many words of gratitude to Ukrainian Children and Insulate Ukraine and everyone who supports this project of window insulation. Not only will he be warm in this college, because he lives there, but also the building will be safe till the students return for study.

A Lifesaving Solution
Last year, Lubov’s apartment was damaged by a shell. It destroyed all of her windows. She lives the city of Marhanets, near Nikopol, where the town doesn’t have the money to cover broken windows with wood for their citizens. Lubov couldn’t find anything to cover her windows. She lived with the holes instead glass. This window insulation became a lifesaving solution for her.
