Summer Camp for Ukrainian Children – Warsaw 2023

We are overjoyed to announce that the Summer Camp for Ukrainian Children in Warsaw is now underway! With hearts full of warmth and excitement, we are witnessing the children diving headfirst into a world of carefree smiles and boundless joy.

Amidst the picturesque landscapes of Warsaw, these young adventurers are immersing themselves in a multitude of fun-filled activities. As they explore the wonders of nature, embark on thrilling discoveries, and partake in games, their faces light up with pure happiness.

In the company of their newfound friends, these children are learning the values of camaraderie and teamwork, sharing laughter, dreams, and finding solace and comfort in each other’s company. They are forging bonds that will last a lifetime.

We believe that every moment here at the Summer Camp is a chance to sow the seeds of hope and happiness in the hearts of these Ukrainian children. As they participate in various activities, from arts and crafts to sports and educational workshops, they’re given the opportunity to explore their interests and passions.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who made this camp possible, especially Jagna Kofta, Anna Koval, the wonderful people at TPD and our donors. Your support and love have created a haven of joy and growth for these Ukrainian children, leaving an everlasting impact on their lives!

Nikopol is located in eastern Ukraine on the Dnipro river. Across the river is the captured nuclear power plant. Russians regularly shell Nikopol from across the river knowing that they can’t shoot back. Now, after the dam bombing, the city has no running water. People have been using what they can to block broken windows; tin, wood, blankets, anything. The result is a dark and cold house. We are replacing bombed windows with a new method for temporary windows. Our new method uses inexpensive local materials that allow light in and insulate nearly as well as a double plane glass. $15 replaced a window! Please donate to help the people of Nikopol and the surrounding area. www.UkrainianChildren.org

This building is a dormitory for refugees. It was restored last year so more refugees would be able to stay there. But after Russian army bombed this building the refugees had to leave. because there were no windows in the building. Thanks to UkrainianChildren.org  we insulated 88 windows in this dormitory. Now refugees will be able to come back. Thank you to everyone who support this project these people will have place to live.

Bombed out windows were causing mushrooms to grow on the walls! We installed temporary windows and installed a wood stove. These people are so thanksful!
