This is Anna. She and her husband are pensioners and they live alone. Unfortunately, they don’t have any support from family so when their windows were broken with the shock wave they didn’t know to whom to turn to for help. They saw us doing window insulation to their neighbours and were very glad that we could also help them. They know will be warm in the winter.

We need funding to help keep this project going. As little as $15 can replace a window.

The need is big, but small donations will make a difference!

This is Natalia. She is a relative of the owners whose apartment was damaged after a shell hit. They had to move out of country to get treatment after shell. Now they are going to come back and won’t need to worry about how to fix windows to survive winter.

This is Irina. She lives with her husband and a little daughter. Last year some of their windows were destroyed with a shock wave. They didn’t want to cover it with the wooden pieces because it will close the sunlight which is very important for their child. When she heard about window insulation we do, she was very glad to have an opportunity to insolate this way their windows. She was especially surprised to learn that it was all for free.

One of the largest training workshops was damaged from shelling. During the academic year, more than 300 children learn to make crafts here. With the help of UkrainianChildren, we insulated the windows in the workshops, so now the building will be preserved for education after the war.

This is Irina with her husband and two children. They live in the area of the city where shells happens often. Unfortunately, they don’t have any other place to stay and don’t want to move out from city they love. After one of the shells, some of their windows were destroyed. Thanks to everyone who helps and support window installation project their windows were insulated and it will be warm in the winter time in their home. We also gave the children colorful stickers to put on the windows.
