This is Varvara. She lives on the seashore and there was three shells near her house already, and the last one damaged her house and destroyed all of the windows. This is a second war which she’s been through. She said that the hardest thing for her would be left without her home. She said thank you so much to everyone who help and support this insulation project.

This is Maria. Her apartment was damaged because of a shell. One shell was at midnight and it hit the building next to hers, so she’s decided to sleep in the corridor. This is what saved her she said, because later at night a shell destroyed all of her windows. There were metal pieces and glass all over the place.

We made for a window installation which will keep you warm and safe.

This is Vira. Last year she and her husband had to move out from their apartment because the wooden pieces with which they closed broken windows couldn’t keep heat inside. A week ago they found out about our window insulation. Now thanks to that they will come back to their home.

This dormitory belongs to an agriculture college. All the windows on the third floor were destroyed with a shockwave. There was not even wood to cover the windows. The workers of the college closed broken windows with film, but of course it didn’t keep the facility warm enough. Thanks to UkrainianChildren, we made window insulation which will help to preserve the building until the students come back.

This is Vasiliy with his family. They all were at home when the shell hit. Vasili‘s daughter was sleeping in the couch next to the windows. All the glass from the window fell on her. After the first hit they ran to the corridor, this is what saved them from the next 2 shells which fell next to their house and made a lot of damage.
