This is Galina, she lives alone. She doesn’t hear well. She didn’t hear the first shell. It hit close to her home, and she said, “I never heard the shells, but I heard the missile. All her windows were destroyed, and also the heating system. For now, the stove is the only source of  heating for her.

Fire Dept

This is Nikopol fire department. Here, people are the first ones who come to help others after a shell. They try to help everyone they can, but the place where they work also was shelled twice. The second time, the shell blew up 3 m from a medical worker and hit the wall. Praise God, the man survived. Because all of the 120 windows were destroyed it was very cold in the fire department. Firemen couldn’t rest and relax in during rare times of rest between calls. The chief of the fire department said that when you we insulated on the first floor, it became much warmer. He said a lot of gratitude words to UkrainianChildren and everyone who helped.

They live very close to the seashore and their home has been shelled three times. Because of shells, very often they don’t have electricity. They requested window insulation and the installer asked if they would like a stove. We returned later and installed the stove.

In this giving season, a wood stove to a Ukrainian family can be a gift for the person who has everything. Their name can be engraved on the front of the stove. We will send a gift letter you can include and later, we will try to send photos/videos of the family who received it.#WoodStoveProject #UkrainianChildren #UkrainianChildren.org #HelpUkraine www.UkrainianChildren.org

This is Alexander. He was returning home from work and was 200 meters from his house when a shell struck the yard. His home was engulfed in flames and smoke. He was shocked, realizing that had he arrived just five minutes earlier, he would not have survived.

Winter is here! Please help us keep families warm in Ukraine. We need funding to help keep this project going. As little as $15 can replace a window.

The need is big, but small donations will make a difference!
