Living in Nikopol, especially in a private house, means facing a high risk of being shelled. Natalia often has to take shelter in her basement during such attacks. While the basement is naturally cold, the addition of a wood-burning stove allows her to stay there safely and warmly throughout the night.

The gift of a Wood Stove to a Ukrainian family can be a gift for the person who has everything. Their name can be engraved on the front of the stove. It can be a memorial or a club name. We will send a gift letter you can include and later, we will try to send photos/videos of the family who received it.

In “Memory of Damian Sobol, who gave his life to feed people” Tatiana is the second person on the same street to seek our help, as she and her family spend most nights in the basement trying to stay safe from shelling. With this stove, she will also be able to stay warm during these difficult nights.

When the shell shattered Valentina’s windows, it also destroyed her heating system and cut off electricity, leaving her apartment too cold to live in. Now that the windows have been insulated, her home will be much warmer, allowing her to return and begin restoring the heating and electrical systems. She expressed deep gratitude for the support.

Winter is here and we are replacing damaged windows as fast as we can.  As little as $15 can replace a window.

The need is big, but small donations will make a difference!

Svetlana, an elderly woman living on a modest pension of $80 per month, shared that gas heating is an unaffordable luxury for her. She explained that a wood-burning stove will be her only source of warmth to endure the harsh winter ahead.

This stove was gifted in memory of Zomi, who worked for World Central Kitchen. She gave her life to feed people.
