This is school number 9 in Nikopol.  Right now, this school is used as a humanitarian hub, where people come and receive food bags and drinking water. Unfortunately, knowing this, the Russian army shelled the school even during our work on insulation of broken window. Altogether, 218 windows were destroyed. Last year, the workers of the school tried to cover windows with just film, of course it didn’t help from cold. The temperature at school last winter was +5° maximum. The school principal, was very grateful for the window insulation. She said now our workers won’t be cold this winter.

Winter is here! Please help us keep families warm in Ukraine. We need funding to help keep this project going. As little as $15 can replace a window.

This is Oksana, she leaves with her mother who is 92 years old. Her mom is disabled and all their money goes to medicine. Because of this, they can’t fix their heating system which is broken. This stove is the only source of heat for them. They give thanks for it. They will be finally warm in their house.

In this giving season, a wood stove to a Ukrainian family can be a gift for the person who has everything. Their name can be engraved on the front of the stove. After one of the shells, Galena’s heating system was destroyed. They were heating with electrical heaters, but now very often the electricity is been turned off, and the stove, with the only source of heating for them in this moments.

This is Antonina. She lives with her father. Last year when the shell hit the yard of their building,  she wasn’t at home, but her father was there. After the shell, he was under such stress that he went into the hospital with a stroke. Last winter, they always were cold because of broken windows, but with window insulation, it will be much easier to survive this winter for them.
