This is Anatoliy. When the shells in Nikopol got worse, he took his wife to a different city. While they were on the road, a shell hit their house. When Anatoliy came back home he was shocked by everything he saw. His wife couldn’t stop crying for a couple of days, because she knew if they hadn’t left, they both would be dead. Anatoliy was afraid that they would be cold this winter because their house is very big and wooden pieces can’t keep heat. When he saw our project, he called us and he is sure that thanks to this window insulation, it will be much warmer in his home.

This is Ludmila. Last year, she was cooking in the kitchen when suddenly she heard a loud noise and felt pieces of glass are flying all over. She quickly ran away to the corridor. When the firefighters came, they noticed that the gas pipe was damaged and the gas was filling her apartment. It was a miracle that it didn’t blow up.

She was cold all last winter because wooden pieces with which she covered her windows didn’t help, but with this window insulation, she will be much warmer.

This is school number 9 in Nikopol.  Right now, this school is used as a humanitarian hub, where people come and receive food bags and drinking water. Unfortunately, knowing this, the Russian army shelled the school even during our work on insulation of broken window. Altogether, 218 windows were destroyed. Last year, the workers of the school tried to cover windows with just film, of course it didn’t help from cold. The temperature at school last winter was +5° maximum. The school principal, was very grateful for the window insulation. She said now our workers won’t be cold this winter.
