Mold and cold for a year

A year ago, a shell hit the yard of Olena’s house. Almost all of her windows were destroyed. She covered windows with plywood, hoping that It would keep her warm and dry, but it didn’t help. The moisture and cold ruined her wallpaper and covered some walls with mold. She said, “I wish I would knew about you earlier. I hope now I will now be much warmer. Thank you so much for your help and support.”

Please help us keep families warm in Ukraine. We need funding to help keep this project going. As little as $15 can replace a window.

The need is big, but small donations will make a difference!

New Hope and Joy

When a shell destroyed the windows in Tatyana’s apartment, she couldn’t find anything better, but to close her windows with wooden boards. She said that it was terrible. It was so dark and cold in the apartment. She even tried to decorate her window in the kitchen with some pictures so it wouldn’t be so depressing. When we made her window insulation, she said it’s like a new life, joy and hope which you gave me.

Vitaliy’s building was shelled twice.

His balcony was completely destroyed. Somehow, he survived both times and wasn’t injured, but with the broken windows, it was very cold in his apartment. The window insulation became the only solution for him.

Where to Hide

Last year, shells hit next to Igor’s home. He said the Russian Army was shooting over 20 shells at once. Glass was flying all over the apartment. He didn’t know where to hide. Igor said thank you so much to Ukrainian Children and everyone who supports this project.

This is Ludmila. Last year, she went to her dacha, or cabin, to work in the garden. She said, “I didn’t want to go there that day because I was so tired, but I went anyway. When I came back from my dacha, I saw that all of the windows in my apartment were broken from a shell. There were so many pieces of glass and metal stuck in my walls. I just keep giving things to God that I wasn’t home at that moment.”
