Olga and her husband called us after their house was shelled for the second time. They live in an area of Nikopol which is under bombing every single day.
Last year, a bomb hit near Olga’s house for the first time, breaking all their windows. They covered them with wood, but were cold all last winter.
Unfortunately, two weeks ago, while they were sleeping, a shell hit their home. They all heard the sounds of shrapnel hitting the walls of their rooms. They still can’t imagine how they survived. This time, we repaired their windows with our window insulation. This winter they will be warm.
Winter is quickly approaching and we are replacing damaged windows as fast as we can. As little as $15 can replace a window.
The need is big, but small donations will make a difference!
